3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Pages). When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system in order to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision and the standard contractual clauses in Cloudflare's data processing agreement. Log data is stored only briefly.

4. Contact by email and membership requests

If you contact us by email or express interest in membership, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, content of the message) in order to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Emails to [email protected] are forwarded via Cloudflare Email Routing to a mailbox at Google (Gmail). As a membership request may reveal political opinions, we process this data solely within our activities as a political organisation and only in relation to members and interested persons (Art. 9(2)(d) GDPR); it is not passed on to third parties. Your data is deleted once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Donations via PayPal

For donations, we link to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. Data is only transferred to PayPal when you use the link or QR code; PayPal's privacy policy then applies. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

6. Events, news and settings from Google Sheets

The “Events” and “News” pages load dates, news items and settings from a published Google Sheet (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process; a transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out (Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). No cookies are set. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an up-to-date website that is easy to maintain (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Embedded content and radio

The featured video on the Events page is embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com, Google Ireland Ltd.) when the page is opened; your IP address is transmitted to Google. Preview images on the “News” page are loaded directly from the servers of the respective news source, which receive your IP address. Posts from X (X Corp.), other YouTube videos and the pinned Instagram post (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) are only loaded after you click the corresponding button; from then on these providers may collect data, set cookies and transfer data to the USA. The legal basis in these cases is your consent given by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The radio player only connects to the Radio Shir-o-Khorshid stream server after you click “Play”; your IP address is transmitted to that server.

8. Photos and videos of rallies

This website shows footage of public demonstrations and rallies. The legal basis is § 23(1) no. 3 KUG (German Art Copyright Act) and our legitimate interest in documenting our political work (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you can be recognised in any footage and do not want this – for example for safety reasons – please write to [email protected]. We will remove or anonymise the footage promptly.

9. Fonts

This website hosts all fonts locally. No connections to Google or other font providers are made when you visit it.

10. Cookies and tracking

This website itself does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking tools. Cookies from X, YouTube or Instagram can only be set after you load their content with a click (see “Embedded content and radio”). The Instagram and PayPal links are plain links; no data is sent to these services unless you click the link.

11. Storage period

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or required by statutory retention periods. The data is then deleted.

12. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, write to [email protected].

13. Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

14. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.
